"I have a Shibata Koutetsu as a main knife but I needed something smaller for certain tasks. It was mandatory for me to have enough knuckle clearence and the possibility to work comfortable in hand or in the cutting board. I found this little gyuto just perfect. The attention was top. I'm not from Toronto and the guy who helped me out even took some of his time to recomend me a few places to eat in the city."
"I use this all the time when I don’t really need a full-sized gyuto. Because the blade is taller, the knife gets more use than a petty knife. It’s lightweight and nimble and the steel is very sharp."
"This is a beautiful knife. It came razor sharp out of the box and is very comfortable to use. It's not big enough to be your main knife, but it's a nice compromise between a bigger chef's knife and a little paring knife. Perfect for small tasks."
"Has quickly become a daily driver. Perfect for most tasks. The size is prefect for smaller work areas as well! Definitely recommend picking one up! Maintenance is also very minimal."
"I am so happy I picked this knife. It is very light and cuts beautifully. It is not intimidating like some larger chef knives can be. I will certainly be adding to my collection."
"The customer service at knifewear is extraordinary. What a wonderful team. I am an ordinary cook and they helped me find the knife that was right for me. Thank you to all that helped me-"
"Smaller than our other one, so is just taking some getting used to. Not as much power, but great finesse. Anrh"
"It is a pretty good knife. I use it for little/quick jobs."
"it’s not the biggest knife in the drawer but my wife likes a mid-sized slicer for her veggies. Couldn’t have picked a better one. Nice hefty, and cuts through veggies and meats sooo smoothly"
