Great class, would recommend to

"Great class, would recommend to other people. Learned lost of skills and the teacher was great."

Great Class and Great Value

"I bought my husband this class as an anniversary gift and he really enjoyed it. The class was small and the teacher, Robert, was great and was able to answer all of his questions. My husband - who loves cooking - came away from it more confident in his knife skills. The class is also great value, as you get to take the chicken home, and get both a credit and a discount on a knife purchase with it. They did not try to upsell us on the knife either, and my husband enjoyed it enough to look into other classes there."

Great time learning some new skills

"I took the chicken butchery class last weekend and had a great time. Heard some funny stories, had lots of laughs and learned some new skills. Looking forward to never having to pay for boneless chicken again. Also added a new Masashi VS1 Kaijin to round out my collection."

Honesuki skills

"Great learning experience. I’m hoping there’s a video so I can review what I’ve already forgotten since yesterday. Excellent skills class. There’s a lot of chicken to take home so invite friends."

Very handy skills!

"This class taught me some great skills which I have used nearly every week since. The teacher was very informative and helpful, the class was a lot of fun, and my family loves the yakitori I make using the techniques I learned. Love all the great products at Knifewear, but the fantastic staff are what keep me coming back!"

Just what I needed

"I was in Ottawa for a couple months working long hours on a difficult personal matter and this class was just what I needed. Short but packed with useful information and guidance on technique from good instructors. The staff were all so friendly and knowledgeable. I enjoyed the Ottawa Knifewear classes so much, I took all three available within a couple months."

Q&A

Hi there! Will there be classes available in April or May? Looking to register my partner and I! :)
Hello, Yes we will be opening up spring slots in the next few weeks. We will likely have four spots on the last Saturday of the month. We would be happy to add you and your partner to a waitlist if you would like. Colleen
How often is the class offered? Is there a waiting list? We've missed the current Ottawa session and will definitely be watching for further opportunities.
Hi there! The Ottawa shop offers the Honesuki Skills class on the last Saturday of every month (with the exception of December where we suspend classes for the holiday season). We are currently sold out for our October and November classes. We will open up registration for classes in the new year towards the end of December!
How long is it? And how many participants are in each class
Hey there, we have 4 people per class and takes about 2 hours! - Ellie
