They are a young couple who have never experienced Japanese cutlery so I thought I would introduce them to the joys of Knifewear. I originally purchased a Tojiro Classic 210mm Kiritsuke. I then realized that they would probably keep it in a drawer: so I included a blsde guard. I had some leftover leather that I used to make strops, so I also made them a strop. From personal experience, I knew that they probably didn't know how to sharpen their knives so I bought a $100 gift card so they could take a class at Knifewear on sharpening their new Tojiro and keep it sharp."
