Soup? or Stir-fry today?

"Small class size, so very personal. Great to be able to work with different kinds of knives. Learned very effective and efficient techniques for cutting. When done I had much of the ingredients for a stirfry and a tomato rice, chicken vegetable soup. A fun event. Ryan was professional, gracious and informative."

Great Class for Beginners and Very Educational

"This was a really great for anyone who wants to learn the basics and to get more comfortable using a knife. Instructors are patient and engaging, which makes the class even more approachable and really helps with confidence. I am pretty comfortable using sharp knives but walked having learned even more. A really good experience and I am excited to try other classes in future. Highly recommend."

Knife Skills Workshop

"We did the knife skills workshop today in Ottawa. Our instructor, Julie, was awesome. She was knowledgeable, approachable and I learned a number of new ways to use a sharp knife. I enjoyed being able to try a variety of knives during the session. We were able to decide on an excellent knife to purchase at the end of the class. Thank you so much."

Best decision ever

"Shout out to instructors Colin and Jay for their patience and epic knife skills. I am soooo pumped that I took the course this morning. I left the course feeling very confident and excited to explore even more recipes that involve various cutting techniques. I also picked up a gorgeous 135mm petty with black walnut handle. Imma put it use right now, slicing and chopping stir fry ingredients to go with the ingredients we skillfully prepped this morning. I will be back to take the knife sharpening course and others they offer. Cheers! Craig"

Q&A

Is there any women teachers? And Can I organize a group for class?
Hey there! We can absolutely organize a group class. At the moment in Edmonton none of our female staff are teaching quite yet, but that should change early next year. Your best bet is to get in touch by emailing edmonton@knifewear.com.
