"For the price point you can't go wrong. Sharpest knife I own. Doesn't disappoint"
"Amazing performance! And such a good price"
"This knife was an upgrade for me over my greban kitchen knife that I've been using for 14 years. Out of the box it was an exceptionally sharp and thin blade that worked very well within its niche. The grip is a little small, but the sharpness and thinness don't require a large grip to adequately control the blade, but it is small for my hands from a comfort perspective. The blade can be adequately used with a rocking heel cut, or tap chop. For the price, I'd say this knife is an easy win, within the constrictions of what a gyuto is meant to do. This knife will require others to properly compliment it for a functional kitchen."
"It was my first knife and experience was some that i will never forget . I stated my kitchen carrear with it and now i know many things about it , and this knife helped me in thios journey , however i will be upgrading soon to some higer level knife , yet if someone wanna plosh their basic or entry level skills , this is one of the perfect knife for them , i can still use my old knife and it is still in good condition. ;"
"Love them , use every day, use less on my German knives."
"Blade is to thick and not tall enough so my pinch grip finger almost goes under the blade. Belly isn't flat so rock chopping large amounts often leaves accordion pieces. Has a blemish from the factory. I have 10$ knives sharper than this out of the box. Pros? I guess the rock chop motion feels nice, vg10 steel, handle comfy for smaller hands and tip of the knife slices well. Not sure if it's returnable now that I've used it, but the shipping probably isn't worth it anyway. If you're looking for an entry japanese knife and already have the proper equipment for it, I'd recommend finding something better. If you're starting out (like I am) with all equipment needed, things add up quick so thismay be a good option for you, however, I'd recommend saving for something better."
"Knife is lightweight and replaced a previous knife that had snapped in our daily block. Would recommend this for an entry level knife for any intermediate home cook."
"I bought this for my mom as I’m introducing her to Japanese knives ! Love the quality for the price point, sturdy and sharp out of the box. Would definitely recommend as an all around knife in the kitchen"
"knife was sharp outta the box. bought this for use at my new job starting next week. good value for money all-round."
"Anyone looking to step up their knife game needs to visit Knifewear. Do they sell super high end, expensive knives? Yes. But they also have knives for almost any budget and you will honestly not find a better deal both in terms of price and quality. Cannot recommend this place enough."
