Le couteau Hori Hori est un parfait mélange entre un couteau et une truelle. Il est idéal pour diviser les vivaces et, grâce à ses graduations en pouces et en millimètres sur la lame, il est pratique pour planter à la bonne profondeur. Il est également excellent pour le désherbage, la coupe des racines, le repiquage et l'arrachage des plantes.
Traditionnellement appelé "Sansai Hori", ce qui se traduit par "creuser des légumes de montagne", il était à l'origine un outil de cueillette polyvalent qui, au fil du temps, a trouvé sa place dans les jardins nord-américains en raison de sa polyvalence. Avec un bord dentelé d'un côté et un bord aiguisé de l'autre, il constitue un excellent ajout aux collections d'outils de nombreux jardiniers.
Le couteau Hori Hori est livré avec un étui en cuir avec une boucle de ceinture pour ceux qui veulent toujours être prêts pour leurs besoins hori.
