Le « couteau court Higonokami » ou HIGO est un couteau de poche japonais traditionnel qui date de 1894. Aujourd'hui forgée par Mitsuo Nagao, forgeron de la cinquième génération, l'entreprise a décidé de faire du « couteau court » une lame pliante il y a quatre générations, et c'est ainsi que le HIGO est né. Ils sont fabriqués avec de l'acier du district de Yasugi grâce à un procédé appelé « le polissage au feu »… n'est-ce pas incroyable ?
Le Kanji sur la lame se traduit par "Higo no Kami Sadakanekoma".
