"This is the best box grater that I have seen. It has the excellent blades of the Microplane, clear plastic cover to protect those blades from storage in a drawer, and is a little easier to clean than other box graters. Glad that I bought this and it looks well built enough to be of use to my children long after I have gone."

- Is it dishwasher safe?
- Hey D.A I believe they are but I would recommend against it. The dishwasher will only dull it quicker and could degrade the plastic as well. Let me know if you have any other questions, Alex
