  • Gyuto

Inspired by the profile of a traditional European chef knife, Gyutos are a multi-purpose knife with a slight meat-cutting bias. “Gyuto” translates to “cow sword.” If you want one knife to do it all, This is it.

  • Yoshimi Kato - Blacksmith

Yoshimi Kato is the son-in-law of Hiroshi Kato, the man who originally made some of our most popular Masakage lines and was a founding member of Takefu Knife VIllage. The torch has been passed and Yoshimi-san has stepped up to fill some big shoes and take over those lines.

Beautiful

"A beautiful knife. Keeps its edge for a long time. Exceptional balance. Ideal for cooks and chefs slicing, dicing, and mincing vegetables or any other foods throughout the day."

Does the handle lead to a comfortable pinch grip? looks like it may feel strange.
Hey there, it is really personal preference, if you like a western handle, these are really nice. - Ellie
