Ne laissez pas les rasoirs à cartouche Gillette vous éloigner de ces lames lisses et tranchantes. I think these are the

"I think these are the ones for me. Sharp yet comfortable on my skin, cuts hair quickly, and reasonably durable--I have gotten up to 5 shaves out of a single blade, but think 3 is the sweet spot. And all this at an excellent price."

Exemplary blades that are very smooth and sharp!

"Gillette SharpEdge are my new favourite blades, and I have decided that they are the only blades I will be using from now on. In regard to sharpness, they remind me of Feather blades, but I much prefer them over Feather for two reasons: they're significantly less expensive, and they are much smoother and don't cause any irritation at all (Feather blades always felt abrasive and scratchy to me). I have an unfortunate combination of sensitive baby skin and coarse pine-needle hair, but these blades are the perfect solution to that quandary because they will effortlessly mow through the most coarse hair and cause no irritation whatsoever. Quality control for this line seems to be excellent as well; I have yet to encounter a defective blade. I can usually get about five or six shaves out of a blade before I have to change it, so I would consider that a pretty good value in terms of longevity. Everybody perceives blades differently, so there will be some people who don't feel the same way I do about them, but it's definitely worth trying a pack if you're seeking a smooth, sharp blade that's suitable for coarse hair."

Pretty good.

"Pretty good razors. They dull faster than my preferred (mercur) but they are also cheaper so the math probably balances out. Shave was good on a sharp blade. Not super aggressive."

Average razor blade.

"I have thick and coarse hair and sensitive skin and this razor just didn't cut it for me."

Sharp and Smooth

"These blades have a reputation for being very sharp and smooth… that reputation is well deserved. My first use was in a moderately aggressive DE razor. The first pass was so smooth, I thought I forgot to put a blade in the razor. It mowed almost everything on the first pass. My advice would be, if you are prone to razor burn or have sensitive skin, always use a light touch with these blades. For those with a thicker beard, these maybe perfect for you…easy to get that BBS shave."

Not as good as some of the others from the same Russian factory

"Sharp but not quite as sharp or good for as many shaves as Perma Sharp or Nacet blades."

Nice Smooth Shave!

"This DE blade is a medium blade. Based on my skin and beard types, this blade gave me a very smooth shave. It cut by facial hair very well with no knicks or cuts. I just had my fourth shave with one blade, which is good for me, and it still gave me a smooth close shave. It performs much better than all of the mild blades that I have tried; this DE blade may be be the one."

I really like this blade,

"I really like this blade, it’s not too aggressive and I get about 4-5 good shaves with it"

Good value, "middle of the road" blade

"I picked up some of these the last time I was in Calgary as I needed to stop by the shop for a few things. (Not a website purchase.) For me, I'd slot them as a medium range blade...not as mild as the shop blades and Sharp's and nowhere near as aggressive as Feathers. Somewhat akin to Astra's offerings. As of late, I am favoring my Gillette new hybrid Tech for a razor, as it is a bit of a shaving oxymoron. The razor feels like a mild shaver on the face (as gentle as my Edwin Jager DE86)...but it is actually quite aggressive in its cut (as in only slightly less likely to take skin than my Kropp straight razor). The Yellows tame the aggressive cut a fair bit while maintaining this razor's mild feel. I did notice needing a little more touch up work and I think 5-6 shaves was about it (about the same as I get with the Astra blades...Feathers usually get an extra shave or two and need less touch ups, but are super aggressive in this razor). In my Fatboy, I adjusted my shave one more notch toward aggressive and found the shave quite acceptable...though again, not quite as many shaves as the Feathers I usually use in the Fatboy. Overall, I'd say they are a pretty decent "middle of the road" blade that represent a pretty good value."
