Excellent, exactly what I've been looking for!

Really nice block! Love the simple design and compact footprint. For whatever reason magnetic blocks don't do it for me and I have no available space to hang mag strips. Glad I went with the Tall Medium size as I have a "240" gyuto that is actually 248 edge length and I think it would have been about 1/4" too long to fit on the standard medium without bottoming out. For anyone who's curious, the 11 1/2" measurement is from the top of the hanger bars to the inside top of the base. . . . so it's pretty much exactly how much room you have from tip to handle.

Would absolutely buy again and as my collection of knives grow I could see adding one of the smaller sizes for the shorter knives.
