This is a plate and cutting board all in one. Made from SPS resin: safe, stable and even
microwavable. These Choplates are produced by Kawabe Shokai in Osaka, specialising in molding plastics and resins. This is the first product that they came up with.
The 26cm size can be a great dinner plate where you can place your steak and use your steak knife without worrying about dulling it! SPS resin is a slightly harder material than other cutting board materials, so it is a bit more scratch-resistant, but they are not scratch-proof. You will see some cutting marks on the Choplate.
