VG1 Stainless Steel

a.k.a V Gold 1 from Takefu Special Steel. As hard as VG10 and has great corrosion resistance (stainless). Compare to VG10, it lacks a bit of ductility so it may chip a bit easier than VG10, but still great steel for a knife for a reasonable price.

Steel Composition -  Carbon (C) 0.95-1.05%, Chromium (Cr) 13-15%, Molybdenum (Mo) 0.2-0.4%
