Masakage Kumo

Sexy or what? Hand forged with a VG10 stainless steel, Masakage’s Kumo line are like nothing else. Dubbed Kumo (cloud), these dreamy looking blades could be compared to watching the clouds on the coolest of days. Teamed up with a rosewood and pakka wood octagon handle, these blades have a nice light feel and forward balance. Heavenly!

VG-10 is a steel designed to make knives. This is a steel that brings sharpness, toughness and stain resistance together in the best combination possible. The result being a beautifully sharp edge that stays sharp. One of the best things is that, in comparison to other stainless steel, it is a dream to sharpen. That and it’s stainless so you never see your food discolour or pick up a rusty knife. Winning all around.

NEW CHERRY WOOD HANDLES  Due to over-harvesting Rosewood has become an endangered species in the world, so Masakage now uses sustainable American cherry handles for Kumo line. If you are keen on a Rosewood handle, please make sure to request one in your order notes and we'll let you know if we still have one. Read more about it.
