By honing one specific skill for decades, as a collective, they can create some of the best knives in the world. When you get a knife from Seki, each process has been completed by an expert in their field, guaranteeing the best quality. As a result, unfortunately, many of these skilled people are invisible to folks like us. One such maker, invisible until recently, is Toshitaka, run by Takafumi Tamada-san. Despite not being known by the general public, they are highly regarded in the industry for their skill in thinning and sharpening blades for prominent companies. They get their blades crazy thin and sharp, crafting absolute lasers.
