Moritaka Hamono’s Two City Canada Tour!

Moritaka Hamono’s Two City Canada Tour!

Knifewear Toronto Grand Opening: June 17, 2023
Knifewear Vancouver: June 20, 2023

Our friends at Moritaka Hamono will be visiting both Toronto and Vancouver! They have generously offered to engrave a limited number of their knives in both cities and will be doing talks about their unique, yet traditional, methods of knife making.

Moritaka Hamono has an over-700 year history, first making samurai swords, then kitchen knives. They have been friends of Knifewear nearly since we opened our doors, so this tour means the world to us and we cannot wait for us all to hang out and get nerdy. If you're unfamiliar with the Moritakas you can find more info here. And you can see their Ishime line, exclusive to Knifewear, here.

Mason Hastie

Mason's job is to make Knifewear and Kent of Inglewood look cool. Which is an easier job than it looks (don't tell Kevin) since both are much cooler than Mason. He enjoys owning knives that make him feel like a much better cook than he actually is, and looking at razors that make him wish he shaved more than once every five years.
