I picked this up on a whim.
I am not usually into such a plain looking knife, but this Helle has such a great hand feel, as well as a very satisfying tactile sound and feel when opening and closing.

The wood offers a lovely thwack when the blade hits the stop pin.

This is a great knife for carving or light campsite work.

The scandi grind is like Moses parting the waters as far as removing wood when carving. I was surprised at how much control I had with finer detail work.

I’m sure others will use this knife in more practical ways, but I find it satisfying for how I use it.

The Bleja folding knife contains all of the features of a fixed-blade Helle in a more compact design. A newly designed locking system and metal liners re-inforce the handle for ultimate durability while hunting or bush-crafting and the contoured handle creates a better grip when carving. The name and size are inspired by Bleja, the largest mountain along the Fjord that Helle is located at.
