Sushi Making Class — Calgary
Sushi Making Class — Calgary
Sushi is one of the most popular varieties of Japanese cuisine, famous for the cutting and presentation of raw fish. More correctly, the key ingredient is actually the seasoned rice, and it's possible to make vegan sushi. In this class, you can learn to make two types of sushi at home!
Knifewear Calgary is pleased to collaborate with Chef Toru Echigo on the class. Originally from Japan, Chef Toru brings years of experience both in making sushi at restaurants and in teaching people how to do it themselves.
You'll learn how to prepare rice, how to slice raw fish, how to roll maki, how to form nigiri, and how to arrange it tastefully for serving. After class, you'll have time to eat all the beautiful sushi you make!
