Making sharpening accessible and easy, the magnetic guide attaches to the side of your knife for a simple, reliable angle, while the rolling sharpening cylinder glides along the edge, delivering a consistent edge every time.
Out of the box, the HORL 3: Oak comes with a diamond sharpening disc installed and a ceramic honing disc to refine the edge and deburr your knife. To take your knife to the next level, you can exchange the diamond sharpening disc for the HORL Fine and Extra Fine Corundum discs with the HORL 3 Premium accessory kit.
The HORL 3 comes with the HORL Standard Diamond and Smooth Ceramic discs.

"Picked this up to do faster "tune-ups" to my knives without havnig to go through the full whet-stone process all the time and I am completely satisfied. The Horl is DEAD simple to use, very quick and gives impressive results considering the lack of skill involved in the process. You won't get a razor sharp edge with the basic kit alone, so consider getting the "whetstones" add-on."
