The Layup is just an awesome EDC knife manufactured with some of the best components that Kershaw has to offer. D2 steel will get sharp and maintain that edge for a good long while. An assisted opening combined with a KVT ball bearing pivot makes the Layup opening as smooth as butter. In addition, the glass filled nylon handle will stay secure in your hand. The Layup also comes with a reversible deep pocket carry clip, so it is also pretty modest.
