Collection: Tomoo Matsumura

Tomoo Matsumura-san runs the traditional knife-making workshop for TOJIRO, a young but talented blacksmith with a team of up-and-coming apprentices. He trained at Yoshikane alongside Masashi Yamamoto-san among others, but now he enjoys the luxuries afforded by working next to one of Japan’s biggest knife factories. He works very collaboratively with the rest of the TOJIRO brand to share knowledge and techniques, combining the best elements of traditional blacksmithing and modern metallurgy.
