I am now an onion slayer

"Love all the different techniques we learned to cut safely, efficiently and with finesse!! I have such joy now whipping out my cutting board and practicing at home. I was kindly corrected on poor mechanics I didn’t realize I had… like cutting with my wrist instead of through my elbow and shoulder. Appreciate the pointers and I do feel less fatigued after food prepping for the week."

Great Time!

"Fantastic class! Learned how to cut an onion the proper way, which in itself makes this class worth it. One of the best parts is trying different knives and getting a feel for what works best for you, not to mention the $50 credit you get towards purchasing the knife! Highly reccomend!"

Knife Skills Workshop

"We did the knife skills workshop today in Ottawa. Our instructor, Julie, was awesome. She was knowledgeable, approachable and I learned a number of new ways to use a sharp knife. I enjoyed being able to try a variety of knives during the session. We were able to decide on an excellent knife to purchase at the end of the class. Thank you so much."

Soup? or Stir-fry today?

"Small class size, so very personal. Great to be able to work with different kinds of knives. Learned very effective and efficient techniques for cutting. When done I had much of the ingredients for a stirfry and a tomato rice, chicken vegetable soup. A fun event. Ryan was professional, gracious and informative."

Q&A

Is there any women teachers? And Can I organize a group for class?
Hey there! We can absolutely organize a group class. At the moment in Edmonton none of our female staff are teaching quite yet, but that should change early next year. Your best bet is to get in touch by emailing edmonton@knifewear.com.
