Despite the name, this tool isn't for testing cake. Chefs use cake testers religiously for checking the internal tempurature of food - reheating duck confit and the like! Simply insert the tester, wait a few seconds, and chef the tempurature against the back of your hand.

The Gestura Noyau Cake Tester is a simple, elegant and beautiful cooking companion. The Head is stamped flat to look and feel like a weighted guitar pick. The tip is nice and sharp to pierce crumb, flesh and skin without tearing or ripping. You can cook intuitively and in-style armed with the Noyau.
