PAYMENT 
Knifewear Inc. uses PayPal and all major credit cards as its payment method on its website. This technology encrypts your personal and order information and offers you a secure online experience. For more information about PayPal, please visit www.paypal.com and click on User Agreement. 

GIFT CARD

  • Gift cards are redeemable at any Knifewear locations. 
  • Gift cards can be purchased at Knifewear.com (Delivered Digitally) or at any Knifewear locations. 
  • Gift cards are non-refundable and have no cash value. 
  • Gift cards do not expire. You can check the balance by request at a Knifewear location or by calling us at 1-888-669-6168. You will need to have your gift card or your 19-digit gift card number in order to check your balance. If you return product originally purchased with a gift card, any refund will be returned to a new gift card. 
  • Gift cards will not be replaced if lost, stolen or destroyed without proper proof of purchase. Treat them like cash. 


TAXES, CUSTOMS & DUTIES 
All Canadian residents are subject to the taxes charged by the province or territory the order is being shipped to. Customers who are ordering internationally are not subject to any Canadian taxes. 
For international deliveries, customs and duties charges may be calculated by the destination country. Knifewear Inc. is not responsible for any such charges or potential delays in delivery caused by customs clearance. 

SECURITY & PRIVACY
 
It is not necessary to create an account with Knifewear Inc. to place an order; however, in doing so your shopping experience will be much faster the next time. When on the Knifewear Inc. website, you will be asked to create an account using your name, street address, telephone number and email address. You will need to choose a Username and Password to shop online with Knifewear Inc. This will enable you to access your account easily and securely. 
The information you provide us with when placing an order online is used to process and complete your order. We will not share this information with any outside parties excepting Canada Post (or delivery service of your choice) in order to complete the shipping of your order. We may contact you if there is a question regarding your order. If that is the case, we will use the email address and/or telephone number you provide us with when placing your order. You will receive information required to track your package at the email address provided by you

KNIFEWEAR SHIPPING POLICY
For internet orders, our goal is to respond in 24 hours and ship the purchase as soon as possible. No orders will be shipped out on weekends or holidays. We are human too, it may take extra time for large extensive orders or fragile objects. 

Parcels are shipped from all Knifewear stores, based on inventory availability. This may lead to orders being split. If you have multiple items coming from separate locations you will get multiple tracking numbers. 

 *We cannot ship any Charcoal products (Binchotan Charcoal or PokPok Charcoal across international borders as it is a dangerous goods substance and product.*

Shipments crossing international borders can be detained by the country’s customs agency. These delays are beyond our control. International shipments are all sent with an electronic or physical commercial invoice for this reason. Knifewear is not responsible for any extra duties and charges incurred from customs agencies.

We will not ship any international parcels marked as a 'Gift' or lower the commercial invoice cost of items inside. The only exception is when we are returning an item to you that has been shipped to us for mail-in sharpening. This will be shipped back as 'Returned goods from repair' 

We like to play by the rules. 

Customers in Canada and the USA:

Canada - We ship with the Canada Post Expedited Parcel service. In most cases, packages arrive at Canadian destinations within 2-7 business days. This service is insured and trackable.
USA - We ship with DHL Express service. Generally, packages will take 2-7 business days for delivery. (possibly 4-9 for Hawaii and Alaska) This service is insured and trackable.
Other shipping options do exist, you can select your preferred service through the checkout page if you would like faster service.

Shipping everywhere else (Outside Canada and USA):

Any order being shipped to countries outside Canada and USA will be shipped via  DHL International Express service. Shipping fees will be calulated at the checkout via DHL live rates (You pay what we pay).


GENERAL RETURN POLICY:

This return policy applies to all items purchased from Knifewear. We want you to be happy, so if you are outside of the general return policy, please contact us directly. 

Products must be returned within 90 days and with payment receipt, original packaging (undamaged), unused and in perfect condition. If knives show any sign of use, sharpening, honing, etc they will not be accepted for return or exchange. If the original packaging is not in a re-saleable condition the item will not be accepted for return or exchange.

All items returned to Knifewear Inc are done so at the buyer's expense
. The items must be properly packaged to prevent damage and fully insured. Please notify us of the tracking number so we can follow the progress of the parcel. Funds will not be reimbursed until we receive the products and are happy with the condition. The refund will be the amount paid less the shipping/handling fees (our actual shipping cost for those orders where shipping was included for free), PayPal fees and any other incurred costs. 
When sending parcels to us across an international border it is your responsibility to state that the item is either being returned or temporarily imported for repair. Failure to do so may result in import tariffs and/or brokerage fees. 

Items found to be damaged or used will not be accepted or credited for return or exchange.

Breakage or Discrepancies in Shipments
 
If there are any problems with your order, please notify us within 48 hours of receipt. Knifewear Inc. will not be responsible for any claims made after 48 hours. For breakage resulting from carrier transit, please keep the entirety of original item(s) as well as all packaging and packing materials for future inspection by the carrier. 

Limited Guarantee
 
We want all of our customers to be very pleased with their purchase. Therefore, all of our products are carefully inspected prior to shipping and packaged appropriately to prevent damage in shipping. If you find you have any problems with your order upon receipt, please contact customer service at hello@knifewear.com within 48 hours.

Knifewear Inc makes no representations or warranties of any kind, either expressed or implied, including, without limitation, warranties or conditions of title, or implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. Knifewear Inc is not responsible for printing or typographical errors. Pricing and availability are subject to change without notice.

Special Orders as well as SALE items are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged.
