Takeda Shosui-san knives
Thin means sharp and you can't get much thinner. Takeda knives are hand forged and hammered from Aogami Super steel to a super hard 63:65 Rockwell hardness. All of these knives have rosewood handles and kurouchi finish. Performance, great looks, super light/thin, easy to sharpen, Takedas have it all. Thursday 24 July is the first day they will be in the shop. I don't think I'll have this shipment for long. Come check them out.

"Secrets of the Samurai"
Nova will be airing "Secrets of the Samurai" (in North America) on PBS June 24 at 8:00PM. It's such a great documentary about Japanese swords that crosses over nicely with knives. Get ready with the popcorn and learn about 3-Body swords.
